A few of my favorite things

These are a couple of my favorite "things":

A cabinet my dad made for me:

My parents ROCK!  I'll have to tell you about them sometime-

It's finished, binding and all.

It's nothing grand, and I didn't even miter the corners (just kinda scootched them in there), but it's done.  I have had this "thing" lately to make baby stuff.  I bought this fleece remnant for about $1 and the binding material on clearance and knew at once what it should be.

Now, a home for it?

Sew much to share!!!

I was just looking through some photos of a backpacking trip my husband and I did a while back and just had to share some of these photos.  We went to Durango and took the train that goes to Silverton, only we got off half way and backpacked for 3 days.

Allow me to introduce myself

Gasp! I am so rude.  Well, not really, I just like to get down to business.  Important things first, introductions come later.  So, please allow me to introduce myself and my exceptional husband.  My name is Penny, and my husband is Lenny.  He is the love of my life and best friend.  We have been married for 11 years, and we always tease each other that it feels every bit of 11 years.  I would not trade a moment of it.  We do not yet have children, and do not currently have any pets (although I am working on Lenny to get a great big dane (as I call them)).  Now I am OFFICIALLY no longer a rude person!
