Wrap-it-up shopping bags
This is the bag that I have been so excited about. It's a shopping bag that folds down and snaps closed to a 5 X 2.5 inch rectangle. I am forever forgetting to take my own bags with me to the grocery, so I figure I can make several of these and leave one in my purse and some in the car in the glove box!
This whole design came about when I asked my mom what I could make her for Christmas. She asked for shopping bags. This pattern had been rolling around in my head after seeing an Envirosax, so this is my version. Keep an eye out for these in my Etsy shop!
Mom, you probably had an idea that I would do this, but I can't resist putting this picture up of you holding your wrap-it-up bags (which are full of items you shoplifted according to Dad).

This is great! My mom recently purchased a bag like this from her local co-op/organic store and she loves it and it solves the problem of leaving the bags in the car and not remembering until you are asked - plastic or paper. :)
