I cannot believe I'm about to do this.
JUST TODAY, I rode my little bikey down to the thrift shop and found "little beauty".
She had a few orangey grease stains on her, but I washed her up and now she's sparkling again. Someone invested a lot of love and time in little beauty, sewing a lot of the construction as well as the smocking/decorative stitches by hand.
Here's a close-up
Back to the story. I've been planning on doing a giveaway and just had not quite figured out something I felt was worthy, until I saw little beauty. I went back and forth several times whether I should make her part of the giveaway but I finally decided this afternoon to bless the socks off someone with her.
I was going to wait until tomorrow to write up this post, but Wisdom kicked in and I decided I should post this NOW before I change my mind and keep her for myself! (and she is SOOOOO cute on me!)
Also, I'm including this little catch-all bag I made
AND this copy of cook's country and almost a full yard of this cute fabric.
Oh, and the little catch-all is going to be filled up with a little surprise!
So, here's the deal. Leave a comment on this post to be entered in the drawing to win! If you want to be entered THREE more times to increase your chances, post about this giveaway on your blog and then email me at: sewtakeahike{at}gmail{dot}com and give me your blog address so I can be sure to enter your name the extra three times. I will accept entries until Sunday, July 27th at midnight my time.
One more look at the goods
Good luck to you all!
