is done!!! I loooooooove this quilt!! The finished size is 40X40. I really think this is the very first quilt I've made that I adore every single fabric in it. Would you just look at those hello betty sunny side up dots???? LOVE them! And my precious flea market fancy scrappage, yum.my!!
I used brown thread to quilt the plaid pattern in it:

The office Christmas party is tomorrow.
We're having an ornament exchange.
Frosty, (the link will take you to the how-to) melting from the tears he was shedding, begged me to be "the one".
I couldn't stand to see him sitting there in a puddle.
I'm obliging him.

Today's high was 18. Tomorrow's is supposed to be 12. And it's been snowing for a day and 1/2. So I decided to go with it.
I used Simplicity 9871 and made a couple pair of flannel lounge pants. Mine are blue with large white paisley's and these are L-man's, which he is currently wearing. This is a super easy and quick pattern. I'm not fast when I sew, and I can have these cut and sewn with serged edges in about 2 hours. The only adjustment I made was to reduce the crotch length by about 1.5-2 inches so they are more of a hipster look than what's on the pattern envelope.
And the best part you ask? I can call L-man "elephant butt"! hehe
