
Yep.
I can't believe it myself. More hand stitching (I thought I was done after those napkins.) It must be the sashiko zakka book I just got in the mail recently.
I didn't have any pearle cotton so I decided to use what I have; lots and lots of size 3 cotton crochet thread.
I really enjoyed quilting this.
And learning about how to hide the knots at the beginning and the end of the stitching. Seriously, you should have seen those huge knots I had on the back of the quilt before I had the "aha" moment that there had to be a better way.
Now to choose the binding.....
FYI, one of my uncles passed away and this coming weekend is his memorial service. I'm going to take a blog-break for a week or so, so I'll see you then!
