Monday eyecandy

 

L-man and I had a great weekend, how was yours?  We pop-up camped on Thursday night and did a kayak run over by Silverthorne on Friday.  I was really nervous and scared to do this particular run, but I did it anyway and man did I have a blast. 

Saturday was a really productive sewing day, here are a couple of blocks I made for a few bees:

Have you ever seen an orange or red jay?  Neither have I.  We do have a couple of mountain blue jays that hang around though.   They're super loud and aggressive.  In fact, they terrorize my cat by dive bombing at him.  So much so, that he takes cover.  It really is a sight.

Thank-you all for the the comment love on my process photos for the "origami" mini quilt and for your support and tips regarding my lower fibre diet.  Things are going really good!  No relapses.  I just have to be sure and delete the sale emails I get.  I'm still a little too tender, I'm afraid, to open the email and un-subscribe.  I'm really scared I'll see some sexy fabric and go crazy.  So deleting the emails is working good for me for now.
