Two photos from camping and kayaking by Glenwood Springs last weekend:
This was the view of the Colorado River from our pop-up door. Can everybody take a deep breath and say "aaahhhhhh"?
and of course, some quilt block goodness. A new block I designed, called "funky asterisk"

That's very cute. I can see an English teacher oohing and aahing over a quilt of many punctuation marks. :-) Or maybe the asterisks become flowers. I can see a whole field of them in pastel colors. You got me thinking...
