Wow, so cool! The acoustics in the center hall are insane! Seeing that organ always makes me think of the movie 'Mannequin' lol, that's where they shot that film, Macy's used to be the old Wannamaker building. =)

Real life is found in such moments where humans make themselves into creators of beauty, rather than consumers of a "stuff". "We shall praise Him forever." Amen!

Nancy

Awesome! The Halleluja Chorus is very moving - it would have been amazing to hear that in person. It really does put the reason back into the season - thank you for posting it :)

A friend had sent me this link a week ago. AMAZING! Tears to my eyes every time I watch it. Thanks for posting it here.

You know, I'm glad to read that someone else was a little emotional after/while watching this. I was so choked up trying to imagine how beautiful this must have sounded in person. The Macy's (or, for those of us that remember, old Wanamakers - as it will always be for me and most other Philadelphians) has pretty good acoustics for its pipe organ. 600 voices lifted up to the light blows my mind a little.

susie

wow, thanks so much!!
