Woohoo! Have fun!

Bree

A solar powered sewing machine... yes please! That would be the best of both worlds!

Jody Blue

There is nothing like sitting by a camp fire, chatting, eating smores, and just enjoying eachother. We have decided to put in a second fire ring closer to our back door for small family wiener roasts, we will still use the one in the way back yard for big family fires.

Kelley

Sounds like the perfect time for hand-piecing to me!

Audrey

That sounds so delightful! We are hoping to go camping this summer, and I plan on taking handwork. A solar powered sewing machine would be awesome!

Rachel at Stitched in Color

It IS time! We're going beach camping in a week and a half. Can't wait!!!

Kathleen

Penny, I am so happy spring/summer is finally here... we had our first bout of severe weather tonight... it felt so good!
Have fun camping and kayaking....solar powered sewing machine is a must (patent that idea...ha). I picked up the new copy of Stitch magazine and saw your stuff... I love that wall hanging- Soooo cute! I follow your blog regularly and I absolutely love your creativity and uniqueness... Congrats on the publishing!

once our youngest isn't 2 (or 3, or 4, who knows?!?) we plan on renting a pop-up camper. she needs to hurry up and get bigger!

Marisa

Sewing machine w/ solar power...hm...might be more affordable to cross over to the dark side (like me) and take up hand work! Too scary? Give it a try, it's addictive.

melinda

would a treadle machine take up too much space? although, i love knitting by the campfire. it seems extra cozy then. that is a fantastic photo, by the way.

Sew Create It - Jane

That is an amazing picture...just love it!

MelodyJ
