Seriously. I don't know how else to describe how I'm feeling right now. So let me just paint a word picture and see if you get me.
I love cheese. I mean I really love cheese. And I get really excited about eating it. But you know what happens when you eat a lot of cheese? Yep. You get a little backed up. So that's what I mean by excitedly constipated. You with me?

This fat quarter bundle (compliments of RK and Laurie Wisbrun) is the first thing I'm excited about because I get to give it away to one of you! And I'll get back to that in a minute because honestly, that's how I work. I run around in circles and get half of what I want to get accomplished in twice the amount of time!
And then there's this:

A humongo picnic quilt I made for the Moda Bakeshop which will be posted on their site tomorrow! Some huge life events of mine are engrained into this quilt, and everytime I look at it so many emotions come up. It has been a process that started last September 4th, and now, 6 months later, has come to a close. I never meant for it to take so long to complete, it just happened that way and it feels so good to have the finished quilt at ready for many impromptu picnics ahead!

And lastly, a few weeks ago I did a podcast with Jenny and Allison of SeamedUP! and it's now posted! I can't remember exactly what we talked about for sure, but I do remember we laughed a lot and I had a lot of fun, so it must be good, right?
So for those of you who stuck around to the bitter end, leave me one comment telling me the best thing about your week and you'll be entered in the giveaway for the Brrr! fq bundle. I'll leave the giveaway open until Monday afternoon.
Happy Friday to you!
Penny

HI Penny
The best part of my week would have to be having a complete stranger complement me on my quilting at the pool (while watching the kid's lessons). It was so unexpected by nice.

I can't wait to see your triangle quilt posted on Moda Bakeshop!! The best this about this week was the weather and being out in it with my kids. Here in VA it's been in the 50's almost all winter, but this week the 60's. We've spent our afternoons soaking it in and being with each other. It's been great!

I can't wait to see the triangle quilt! I've been bad and collecting WAY too many fabrics that quilt would be a perfect way to use them. The best thing about this week was getting all caught up on my bee blocks and making my last one. The bee was fun but I've realized that I don't have the time to commit to one again.

Ooooh I love your picnic quilt! The best thing about this week was watching my daughter complete her first embroidery project, and she totally rocked it!

Physical therapy was the best thing about my week. I've been able to run 3x's this week with no pain and even tho I am sore from PT yesterday, I know it is good for me. It was my last sessions cuz I am poor and don't want to keep paying the co-pay but my PT gave me a hug and told me I can stop by anytime for a free consultation if I need more exercises from her or have any more issues in the future - awesome lady :)
... and boy o boy do I love that polar bear fabric!

You make me chuckle with your cheese thoughts. I needed that this morning.
The best thing about my week? Well I found the neutral I needed for the Granny Squares QAL locally so I didn't have to order it and I picked up not 1 but 2 quilts my long arm lady finished. Now I jsut have to find time to get them both bound.

The thing I loved most about this week was all the snow we finally got -- and if that wins me a pretty bundle of fabric, it'll make me even happier!

So far, the best thing about my life is that I walked 2 5K's on my treadmill this week. But it is about to be trumped by the fact that I get to see all the family this weekend for a surprise baby shower/birthday party!!
Congrats on Moda. Your excitement is fun! Oh...what are the shoes you are wearing with that adorable quilt bundle (that I can hardly wait to see)??

The best thing about this week is getting a new shelf for fabrics!

Congratulations on so many cool things happening to you in the quilting world! I know someone "famous"! lol I've enjoyed your blog for a couple of years now and have been blessed to swap fabric with you. All the good things happening to you this week are well deserved and couldn't have happened to a nicer, or more talented, quilter!
Best thing this week for me? Finishing a mini quilt, feeling better physically and my family is healthy and safe!
Congrats!

Obrigada.

I can't wait to see your quilt on Moda! As for the best things of the week, I think would say that I got spend time with my sons during school hours as a sub and a chaperone on a bowling trip and also that we sustained no damage from the tornado that passed through our area of Southern Indiana. I know many did and I pray for them.

Mine will take some explaining. My 6-year-old has discovered Transformers. In a big way (just library books for now - no movies). He wanted one, but thought he would have to go to China where they make them. I told him he might get one for his birthday, but that's not until November. He was a pretty bummed little man.
Fast forward a few days to last night. My husband came home from law school a little later than usual. When I asked him where he'd been, he told me, "China." He had spent his birthday money on Transformers for all his kids.
Love that man!
