The best memory from this week was going on a field trip with my daughter's class to the zoo. It was cold, and windy, but so much fun! Thanks!

Carmen

The best part of the week for me was finally making a decision to stay home full time to be with Emma!

byneedleandthread

my favourite thing about this week was the extra day in february! i used the day for crocheting!

Carmen

Hey Penny, happy weekend to you too! Your post seriously cracked me up, and of course you're offering a giveaway to boot! Hmm, what's made my week? It must have been just a moment ago, when I took my lunch break and was greeted with lots of warm sunshine. Really simple answer, I know, but it's been cold and miserable all week! Thanks again and have a good one!

CJ

The best thing about this week - it snowed LOTS and I got to enjoy it all from my sewing room. :)

mindy t

Watching my new baby girl smiling at me and discovering her hands!

jenn

the best part of my week was seeing some of my 8th grade students walk in their fashion show last night -- they looked amazing!

i'd love to win this bundle, thanks for the chance!

Hallie

The best thing about this week is that my hubby came home from traveling for work and helped make my slow and boring week....happy and huggy!

Deb A

Best thing for me is that it's FRIDAY! I've had a heck of a week with a tooth ache and needing a root canal. Thanks!

Ariane

Love the look of your picnic quilt. Can't wait to see its finished goodness. The best thing about this week was that I was able to make it to work even though I was sick. You know....just one of those weeks, I'm just happy I survived and its over. Thank God!!

Janet K

I have a fairly long list of annual check-ups that I take care of in January and February - so this week on Wed. I got my negative mammogram result back and I got a clean bill of health for my eyes (no diabetic retinopathy). yay!

Archie the wonder dog

Love the picnic quilt! My favourite thing this week was going out for dinner (lunch!) with my parents, brother, SIL and nieces to celebrate my parents' ruby wedding anniversary - and then the look on their faces when we went back to my brother's house and they saw the cake we'd had made and decorated! Not sure how we managed to keep it secret - I nearly burst with the effort!!

Robin

I didn't get to see much of my husband this week. (He's a workaholic.) But last night, he worked ahead so we could get some extra snuggle time. And that was the best part of my week.

kimwithak

Best thing about my week...I went to my quilting group on Tuesday with my lovely Mother-in-law and we had an great time!

Terrie

Best part of my week.....my oldest daughter called last night to say she was coming over to make dinner tonight!!!! There is actually light at the end of the tunnel if you survive the teen years :)

And I soooooo love that fabric by the way !! :)

Vicki

Got my sewing machine serviced and cleaned!! And now it just purrs. :)

tinkerfeet

Is that it is over and I have the whole weekend to sew.

Kristi

Hi there,

The best part of my week was having my honey get back home even though we had a hugely nasty snowstorm yesterday! I am especially thankful that he got home as he needs to leave again on Sunday and I want to be able to spend as much time with him as I can. Snuggled into a quilt!

Thanks for the chance to win!

Jane

The best thing about my week is that we found out my husband's colon cancer didn't spread to any other organs! I know that probably sounds strange, but I can't remember being this happy in a long while.
Would love to win this happy bundle of fabric! I can use another HAPPY in my life this month.

The best part of my week was finishing my mini quilt (you can see it here http://fabricmutt.blogspot.com/2012/03/retro-kitchen.html ). I've been working on it for weeks, and it felt so good to get it done! Love your picnic quilt. Thanks for the beautiful giveaway!

Helping in my kindergartner's art class.

The best part of my week is happening right now. I stayed home with my 9yo who has a bad cold. She came to me at 21 months from a very difficult background. All the paperwork was done in December, and she's all mine!!! She has attachment disorder though so I'm excited that we get to stay home all day and snuggle!! It's just what she needs - lots of nurturing that she sometimes won't allow. Weird to be glad that your child doesn't feel well, but that's exactly how I feel right now!

Mmmmm.....cheese..... I think the best part of my week was rediscovering a number of things that I took for granted and I couldn't do while having back pain and spasms last weekend. Every new thing I could add to my "able" list this week made it great, including: picking up my nephew, cooking a meal, wearing shoes that weren't slip-ons... Luxury in little things!

I look forward to hearing more about your picnic quilt and I will have to check out that podcast! Have a great weekend!

Beverly Atkins

Oh my goodness! This was not a good week with car repairs needed and surgery scheduled (which I need!) so it's so easy to pick the best thing. My neighbor called me to babysit. I love those two little girls like they were my own. It's tonight and I'm so excited. Can't wait!

Wendy

Unfortunately, the best thing about my week was getting home from work tonight! It's been a horrible week.

Jo aka The Hungry Crafter

You are too funny! Fantastic things you have going on in your life -- you definitely deserve to be excited. This is an easy question for me to answer -- on Sunday I moved into a new house! First time I've lived in a true house (not apt or townhouse) since high school! AND.....I'll have a honest to goodness sewing ROOM! EEEEeeeeeee! Time to go eat some cheese.

Lesley Barnett

The best part of my week was last night when an idea I had on paper actually worked in fabric! Go me!

Teje & Nero

Thanks for a lovely post - not only because of the great give away! I love that quilt, so beautiful colours and the simple pattern is wonderful! And your bag - wow, I want to make one, too! Best thing for this week is Sunshine after a long time and free weekend for sewing!

Doris

Amy (vintagefern)

The best thing that happened to me this week was while at Walmart, this nice lady passing by says to me, "You are adorable! If my daughters were with me now, they would have to point you out and say look Mom how cute that lady is!" It totally made my day that a stranger took the time to give me a compliment like that :)

Your picnic quilt is lovely!

Vicki Visin

The best thing about my week was spending some time at my local quilt shop looking at new fabric lines and taking advantage of a sale. Lots of fun!

Chelsea

I'm super stoked that this weekend I get to go fabric shopping, and not just at any old fabric store, at one that specializes in modern quilt fabric. Woot!

Jo

Have finished decorating the kitchen and it's sunny & warm outside instead of cold & wet.

Anne Allen

The best part of my week was not quilt related... I drove down to Bloomington, IN and had lunch with my son. I actually went down for a quilt show, which was nice. But lunch with my only child.... the BEST!

Maria

The best part of my week is that I finally finished some drapes for a customer.

Hmm, I was able to have a long quiet soak in a hot tub & then some quality time cutting some scraps & sewing them
Together into something pretty! It's the simple things!:)

Hello--
Thank you for all the gorgeous things you make and share with all of us! The best thing about my week: I was singing while looking at home decor items in a shop last night; when I went to the register, the workers thanked me and said I had a beautiful voice. :)

Arlene

The best thing this week was getting pics of grandkids in their sock monkey hats that I knitted. Their mom even wants one. They actually fit!

Finishing my giant Lou Lou Thi quilt on Sunday and getting to see it on my bed all week.

Actually today and it has to do with cheese. Our local store had a huge sale on Kraft cheese. I now have tons of cheese in my freezer for practically nothing!

Jaime Mc

I am so excited that I finished my first ever wall hanging last weekend. And I'm close to finishing the top for a cute little baby quilt...and it's Friday! Which means I can work on my quilts all weekend!
