The change in weather recently has affected my cat tremendously with his sleeping habits. He's a typical cat, a heat seeker to the max. And since his cat house is positioned next to one of our gas stoves, that's where he can be found. I think the cat house makes him even more adorable!

It seems like the words "iron" and "dilemma" can oftentimes be used synonymously.
Two months ago I bought a basic dry iron from Home Depot that had some good reviews. I was discouraged by leaking, spitting irons, and irons that deposit a black sooty substance (from the steam holes) on my fabric. I thought a dry iron would do the trick since I oftentimes use a spray bottle with starch anyways.
Forward to today. The first thing I do when I go into my sewing room is turn my iron on. And today it refuses to heat. At all. I don't know why finding a good reliable iron seems to be the bane of my existence??
To Home Depot's credit, they are sending a new one to my house and waiving the shipping charges.

I always thought my parents were so fuddy duddy when they would say this, but where has the time gone? It really does seem to move quicker now than when I was 10.
