Ain't no doubt, ladies and gents. It's time for a par.tay!!!
Superbuzzy (say "the best source of Japanese crafty and sewing stuff I know"), is a new sponsor here at sewtakeahike!
And to celebrate, Superbuzzy and I are each throwin' down a $30 gift certificate (that's $60 for one of you!) to spend on whatever you wish at Superbuzzy.
Have you checked out their book and magazine section?
How about their fabrics?
Or maybe their zakka and gifts section?
or their notions and trims?
Feeling a little overwhelmed? Then how about just checking out their what's new in the shop page?
Rules, rules, rules!!
So you want to win?
You have up to three chances to enter (with a little bit of homework), and international entries are welcomed!
- for one entry, leave a comment on this post
- for a second entry, click on the links up there, and then come back here and leave me another comment telling me how you might choose to spend the $60 if you win
- for a third entry, blog or flickr about the giveaway (feel free to grab the superbuzzy button at the top of the post which links back here) and THEN come back and leave me one more comment saying "blogged" or "flickr'd", along with a valid link to the post (I'll be cheeeeeeeecking........)
I will keep this post open for one week, until the evening of May 23rd, when I'll use the random number generator to choose a winner.
Good luck to you all!
Thanks for the chance to enter! I've been drooling over several things on this site for awhile!

I would totally buy fabric! I LOVE the enchino camera fabric and the elephant fabrics and the hippos. I like lime green and greys! Oh how I could spend it on fabrics!!
Posted by: Keriann Simpkins | 21 May 2010 at 02:23 PM
I've seen the white elephants on yellow mini print a lot lately and I think it's ADORABLE. That would be the first thing in my cart if I won. Thanks!

I love this giveaway! count me in!
Posted by: Keriann Simpkins | 21 May 2010 at 02:23 PM
Clicking thru the links was a dangerous game . . . my cart is full! Your fabric selection is always amazing, the Japanese magazines and books I love, but the fabric I can't stop thinking about right now is all the fabrics with text, especially the french writing in the real and aqua, paired with linen for some napkins- lovely!

Love this giveaway, thanks Penny!

Oh, this is totally fun! I'm starting to admire many more of the international fabrics out there and this would be an awesome way to branch out!
Posted by: GigiElle | 21 May 2010 at 02:59 PM
And now that I have had a chance to peruse the store, I definitely would treat myself to some of the 'Wonderful Forest' fabric (so cute), or 'Chrysanthemum Waves.' That is just gorgeous. This could be dangerous... I shouldn't be thinking about spending more money on fabric, but I am!
Posted by: GigiElle | 21 May 2010 at 03:10 PM
I'd love to do some fabric shopping!
Posted by: Tanya | 21 May 2010 at 03:43 PM
I am in love with the Matryoshka fabric and the trim, so sweet. I'd probably concentrate on choosing fabric as our selection around here is so limited! Love the children's section, especially!
Posted by: Tanya | 21 May 2010 at 03:50 PM
Just found your blog and I love it! And I love Superbuzzy!
Posted by: Carrie | 21 May 2010 at 03:50 PM
Oh the $60 would go so fast! I would spend it all on the internaltional fabrics. The nesting dolls, the dutch prints and hands across holland just start with.
Posted by: Carrie | 21 May 2010 at 03:54 PM
what a great giveaway!
Posted by: leigh | 21 May 2010 at 04:14 PM
And if I were to win, I'd definitely get myself some more fabric. Probably some of those cute new Echino fabrics I've seen around - I love the buses and the sunglasses. So much Japanese goodness to choose from!
Posted by: leigh | 21 May 2010 at 04:15 PM
Thanks for the giveaway! So many cute things!

Fun stuff to be sure!
Posted by: Jody Blue | 21 May 2010 at 08:18 PM
Oh no! How would I ever decide what to get?!?
Posted by: Abbington | 21 May 2010 at 11:24 PM
OK, so I've checked out their shop, and think I would DEFINITELY get the Natural Clothes for mother & daughter... then some organic cotton with which to make some of them, and I would definitely need some of those cute owl and hedgehog buttons, and some of the frog trim and echino lace... and then I would probably need a few of those great bento boxes for sustaining provisions during my marathon sewing effort.... Hang on, I don't think $60 will be enough! (But it would sure go a long way towards it all!)

I would love to tell you what I like best at superbuzzy but it seems that their firewall does not like me when I directly go to their site and I am told that the links are broken when I try to click on your links. Ahhhh! The wonders of cyberspace! Regardless, I am certain that I will choose fabric. I always choose fabric!

Ooooo... awesome giveaway! I'm off to find my favorite product.
Posted by: Lisabee | 22 May 2010 at 03:49 PM
So I searched for "squirrel" because I'm always on the lookout for cute squirrel fabric. There's so MANY of them! My favorite is "sharing squirrels" - it would look AWESOME as potholders and accents on kitchen towels. I also love the "Woodland Parade" canvas... why don't we have such excellent squirrel fabrics in the US? I could TOTALLY use up $60 on squirrel fabrics and notions. Squirrel buttons??? Too cute!

I just came over from Anna's Noodlehead blog and - WOW - so much for doing any work this afternoon. I'm still browsing your blog. It's fabulous and is now on my blogroll, guaranteeing I'll be back every time you post. Gee, I hope that doesn't sound to stalker-ish.
Okay, I'm off to check out the links.
Posted by: Rachel | 23 May 2010 at 02:44 PM
Okay, I'm back after checking out SuperBuzzy. If I won the $60, I'm pretty sure I'd be all over the fabric. Perhaps some Halloween fabric to make pillowcases for my daughter (some for every holiday). Or the Bonjour fabric because I'm obsessed with Paris. Let's Enjoy Britain is pretty cute too. Then again, they do have some awfully cute trims, but sadly no jumbo ric-rac, which is unbelievably hard to find here.
Sigh. Such a lot of cuteness.

I know it's a big late, but I just blogged about your giveaway. I hope someone sees it in time to enter because this is wonderful!
